This means that technically, at the beginning of a case, you don’t have to front any of the costs for either the attorney or the cost to prepare your case, and at the end we take a percentage.

There’s some constitutional issues that we have to discuss related to what percentage we’re allowed to charge and what percentage we request to charge, and that’s something that needs to be discussed in a consultation setting once we know the specifics of your case and what it’s going to require to take your case forward. Initially it’s a free consultation and, if we do take on your case, there’s really no payment unless there’s a recovery. It’s a very low-risk thing for the client.
